赤塚植物園
Akatsuka Botanical Garden
板橋区立赤塚植物園は、武蔵野の面影を色濃く残す赤塚の丘陵地を活用し、自然や植物がより身近なものとして親しむことができるような施設として1981年（昭和56年）10月に開園しました。
本園は本園、万葉・薬用園及び農業園の3つのエリアで構成されています。本園は、約1haの敷地内に樹木見本園として多くの樹種が植えられ、その下には野草も可憐な花を咲かせます。万葉・薬用園には、万葉集に詠まれた植物や薬用植物が植えられています。農業園は、主にこどもたちが農作業の体験を行う畑や、来園者に野菜の花や果樹などを観て楽しむことのできるポタジェや果樹園などがある野菜植物園です。
近くには、美術館・郷土資料館・都立赤塚公園などがあり、自然に恵まれた散策コースになっています。
台風接近に伴う利用について
台風の接近、上陸などにより、強風や雨による落枝・倒木などが発生しやすい大変危険な状態となる恐れがありますので、無理なご来園はお控えください。
なお、当園では、来園者の安全を図るため、臨時的に閉鎖する場合がありますので、ご了承ください。
樹木伐採のお知らせ
いつも赤塚植物園をご利用いただき、ありがとうございます。
園内、万葉・薬用園のケヤキは、樹木医による樹木診断を行った結果、倒木の危険があると判断されました。
植物園をご利用される皆様、近隣にお住まいの皆様の安全を第一に考え、この度、このケヤキの伐採を行うことになりました。
作業予定日は10 月中旬を予定しています。

森のアトリエ 展示利用者募集のお知らせ
ウェルカムセンター内、森のアトリエの展示利用者を募集します。
緑や自然をテーマ・素材とした作品・記録の展示を内容としたものであれば、区内在住・在勤・在学の個人・団体の方がお申込いただけます。
